I am a pensioner and my employer sent me on unpaid leave following the coronavirus crisis. Am I entitled to unemployment benefit?

By law, we are only allowed to pay unemployment benefits until the age of 67.

In this case, you must check your eligibility for an old-age pension and, if you have low income, also submit a claim for income supplement to the old-age pension.

Those who are older than 67 years old (women and men) and stopped working in the wake of the coronavirus crisis, can be entitled to a special grant.
